How it Works

COLLABORATING TWO WORLDS

BESPOKE MATCHES

Artisans:

To become a Tiring House artisan, each candidate must register with us and submit portfolio images, a CV, and at least two references. After reviewing this information, we interview potential artisans and categorise them using a points-based rating system. This enables us to create client-artisan matches that fit our clients’ needs while also ensuring that artisans are fairly compensated for their valuable work. The new artisan is then welcomed to our agency.

&

Clients:

To become a Tiring House client, each applicant must register with us and detail the requirements of their project and budget. After reviewing this information, we schedule a meeting to discuss the client’s project, then match them with our artisans using our points-based rating system. A contract proposal is then sent to both clients and artisans, and, once accepted, the artisans are put in touch with the client.

THE IDEA

COLLABORATING TWO WORLDS

TAILORED PRICING

The Tiring House collects a commission fee from our clients in return for connecting them with our artisans. Artisans pay no fees for the first project they are hired for through us. Each subsequent contract will similarly incur an agency fee aligning to the industry standard for practitioners such as actors, directors or designers.

Contact us to find out more about our commission fees and how using The Tiring House can save your project money in the long run by providing highly skilled artisans that get it right the first time.
